SRL Trend Filter 25 zł/mo

SRL Trend Filter is a chart overlay that shows you the market regime at a glance — whether we're in an uptrend or a downtrend. Under the hood it runs a triple-smoothed noise filter (triple-smoothed EMA), and over the candles you see a colored filter line, Fibonacci bands, and a Command Center panel with a ready-made read on trend, strength, and signal. It's built for the trader who wants to quickly cut out the noise and trade only in line with the dominant direction. Every component (slow filter, bar coloring, panel, alerts) can be toggled on and off in the settings.

Quick start

1. Add the indicator to your chart

Since SRL Trend Filter is an invite-only indicator, here's how you add it:

  1. Open a chart on TradingView.
  2. Click Indicators on the top toolbar.
  3. Go to the Invite-only scripts tab.
  4. Pick SRL Trend Filter 🎯 | Strefa Tradingu from the list — it will appear on the chart as an overlay on the candles.

If you don't see the indicator on the list, it means your TradingView account hasn't been granted access yet — reach out to get it.

2. Set a few things up front

Open the indicator settings (the gear icon next to its name on the chart). Worth setting:

  • 🌍 Język / Language — set it to EN so the panel and alerts are in English.
  • 📏 Length (Main Filter group) — the filter length, default 25. This is the indicator's main "sensitivity": a lower value = faster reactions and more signals, a higher value = a calmer, slower trend. Leave it at 25 to start.
  • 🖥️ Command Center (Panel group) — leave it on (that's the default). This is the panel in the corner of the chart that sums up the current trend state. You can change its position in the 📍 Position field (default Top Right).

Optionally, when you want a two-level filter: in the Multi-Filter Mode group, check 🔀 Enable Slow Filter (off by default). It adds a second, slower filter with length 📏 Slow Length = 80 and shows signals when the fast filter crosses the slow one.

3. How to read the main signal

On the chart, watch three things:

  • Filter line color — this is the indicator's main line. Green = uptrend, red = downtrend. A color change is a change of direction.
  • Orange diamonds — they appear exactly at the moment the trend flips (confirmed on the candle close). It's the signal that the filter just switched: a diamond after flipping to green = buy, after flipping to red = sell.
  • Command Center panel — in the corner you read at a glance: 🔄 Trend (UPTREND / DOWNTREND), trend 📊 Strength as a percentage (STRONG / MODERATE / WEAK / FLAT), price 📍 Position relative to the bands (MID / UPPER / LOWER / STRETCHED), and 🎯 Signal (BUY / SELL / —).

If you enable the slow filter, the panel adds a 🔀 Fast/Slow row showing whether the two filters are ALIGNED, and golden triangles appear on the chart at the crossover points.

4. Example: BTCUSDT, H1 timeframe

  1. Open the BTCUSDT chart and switch the timeframe to 1h (H1).
  2. Add SRL Trend Filter (step 1) and set Language = EN and Length = 25 (step 2).
  3. Wait for the filter line to change color from red to green and an orange diamond to appear — that's a confirmed uptrend signal.
  4. Glance at the panel: if 📊 Strength shows, say, 72% 👍 MODERATE or 💪 STRONG, and 📍 Position is MID or LOWER (not STRETCHED), the signal is higher quality — the trend is rising and price isn't yet extremely extended.
  5. The reverse: when the line goes back to red and another diamond appears, the filter is signaling a shift into a downtrend.

Want notifications instead of watching the chart? In the Alerts group, 🔄 Trend Change and ✖️ Filter Cross are on by default — just create a TradingView alert on the indicator and it will send a message (e.g. "🟢 UPTREND") on every change.

Questions and answers

I bought access — how do I add the indicator on TradingView and how do I know it's working?

We assign access to your TradingView login (the one on your profile, not your email). Once access is granted, the indicator shows up in TradingView under Indicators → Invite-only scripts as "SRL Trend Filter 🎯 | Strefa Tradingu". Click to add it to your chart. You'll know it's working from the colored filter line on the candles and from the "SRL TREND FILTER / COMMAND CENTER" panel in the top-right corner. If you don't see it on the list, send us your exact TV login (capitalization matters).

Which timeframe is best for this filter?

The indicator is timeframe-agnostic — it computes on whatever TF your chart is on. The default filter length is 25 (the Length field), so on M5–M15 you'll get faster reactions and more signals, and on H1–H4 a slower but calmer line. The rule is simple: the lower the timeframe, the more often the filter flips color. If you're getting too much noise on a low TF, don't drop the timeframe — increase Length or enable the slow filter (Enable Slow Filter).

How do I turn on alerts and which signals send a notification?

In the settings there's a 🔔 Alerts group with two toggles: "Trend Change" and "Filter Cross" — both on by default. But the toggle alone isn't everything: you still have to add an alert in TradingView. Right-click the chart → Add alert → in the Condition field pick "SRL Trend Filter", set any action → notification. Alerts fire once on candle close (freq_once_per_bar_close), so you won't get false triggers from a flickering, still-open candle. The message is webhook-ready, e.g. "[BTCUSDT 15] 🟢 UPTREND @ price".

How do I read the main signal — when does the filter say "buy" and when "sell"?

The main read is the filter direction: green line and background = uptrend (diff ≥ 0), red = downtrend. The specific entry signal is the orange diamond, which appears exactly when the trend flips (the filter crosses its level from two candles ago). In the panel you get it spelled out in the "🎯 Signal" row: 🟢 BUY or 🔴 SELL. Treat it as a direction filter, not a standalone system — the diamond says "the regime changed", not "go in blind".

What is "Enable Slow Filter" for, and those golden triangles I don't see at first?

That's the Multi-Filter mode (🔀 Multi-Filter Mode group). It's OFF by default, which is why at first you don't see a second line or the golden triangles. Turn on "Enable Slow Filter" and a second, orange line appears — the slower filter (default length 80). The golden triangles (Cross Signals) are drawn when the fast filter crosses the slow one — a stronger confirmation of a trend change than the diamond alone. The panel then adds a "🔀 Fast/Slow" row: ✅ ALIGNED means both filters are pointing the same way (a stronger setup), ⚠️ DIVERGENT = be careful.

What exactly do the "Strength" and "Position" panel rows mean?

"📊 Strength" is a 0–100% scale showing how hard the filter is currently sloping relative to its maximum over the recent candles: ≥80% = 💪 STRONG, ≥50% = 👍 MODERATE, ≥20% = 😐 WEAK, below that = 💤 FLAT (a market with no trend). "📍 Position" is where price sits inside the Fibonacci bands: 🔴 STRETCHED (over-extended) at the 0–10% and 90–100% edges means an extended market where the move is often overdone; ⚪ MID is the calm middle of the band. In short: Strength says "is there a trend", Position says "is price already too far".

I turned the indicator on but I don't see any signals — what should I set?

The most common causes. First: diamonds appear only at the moment the trend CHANGES, so in the middle of a calm trend there are none — that's normal. Second: signals are only confirmed on the candle close (on the candle close), so you won't see a diamond on a live, still-open candle. Third: golden triangles won't appear at all until you enable "Enable Slow Filter". If you want more reactions, lower Length (e.g. from 25 to 15) or drop to a lower timeframe. If you have too much noise — the opposite, raise Length.

Does this indicator repaint its signals?

On closed candles — no. Diamonds and alerts fire only on a candle-close condition, meaning they lock on the candle close and don't move anymore. One thing to understand: the diamond is drawn shifted one candle back (on the filter's position from one candle ago, offset -1), because that's how the engine's original style looks — it's not repaint, just a drawing method. Practical rule: make decisions after the candle closes, not while it's still forming, and you won't be surprised.

I enabled bar coloring and the background is blocking my chart — how do I tame it?

Two things. "🎨 Bar Coloring" (Visual Style group) is off by default — if you turned it on, the candles take on the trend color and it sometimes clashes with your template; just turn it back off if it bothers you. Background intensity is controlled by "🌫️ Fill Transparency" — default 80, range 40–95. The HIGHER the value, the more transparent the background (less coverage). Want a barely visible hint of the regime — set 90–95. Want a stronger color — head toward 40.

How do I combine SRL Trend Filter with other Strefa indicators?

This is meant to be your direction filter, not an entry generator. The classic setup: SRL Trend Filter says "we trade longs only / shorts only" (the market regime), and you take your precise entries from Strefa's setup tools — supply/demand zones, breakers, or structure from the SRL (Smart Range Logic) family. In practice: you only enter a setup when it agrees with the filter color and the "Strength" row isn't showing 💤 FLAT. On top of that, an enabled slow filter (✅ ALIGNED in the panel) acts as a second confirmation — when the setup, the filter color, and fast/slow alignment all point the same way, you've got the strongest variant.
