SRL Fractal Structure πŸ”­ is an overlay that reconstructs higher-timeframe (HTF) candles and draws them to the right of your current chart β€” so you can see the structure of, say, the 4H or Daily without ever switching timeframes. On those candles it marks the key building blocks of the Smart Money toolkit: liquidity sweeps, midpoints (the 50% level of a candle), and FVGs. It's a context and structure tool β€” it shows you where you sit within the higher-timeframe picture, not ready-made "buy/sell" signals.

Quick start​

1. Adding the indicator (invite-only)​

The indicator is shared on an invite-only basis for Strefa Tradingu members. Once access is granted:

  1. Open TradingView β†’ Indicators β†’ the Invite-only scripts tab.
  2. Select SRL Fractal Structure πŸ”­ | Strefa Tradingu and add it to your chart.
  3. If you don't see it β€” wait a few minutes after access is granted and refresh TradingView.

2. Key settings (defaults)​

Open the indicator's gear icon and set:

  • ACTIVATION: Multi-Timeframe Structure = ON β€” the module's master switch.
  • The MTF Timeframes section β€” the HTF slots. Active by default: HTF 2 = 15m, HTF 3 = 1H, HTF 4 = 4H, each with 4 candles (the field next to the timeframe). HTF 1 (5m), HTF 5 (Daily), and HTF 6 (Weekly) are off β€” enable them deliberately, since every active slot slows down loading.
  • Show Sweeps = ON and Show Midpoint = ON β€” the two most important markers on the HTF candles.

⚠️ This is a "heavy" module. The more active HTFs and candles you run, the slower the chart loads. On weaker hardware, stick to 2–3 slots.

3. How to read the main signal​

The HTF candles appear to the right of current price (offset by "Padding from current candles", 35 by default). These are not candles of the future β€” they're the higher-timeframe structure drawn off to the side.

  • Pink line on a wick = liquidity sweep β€” price briefly took out the HTF candle's high/low and came back (a stop-loss grab). This is the most important read.
  • Orange dotted line = midpoint (50%) of the previous HTF candle β€” an equilibrium zone where price often consolidates or reacts.
  • Green/red rectangles = FVG / Volume Imbalance β€” imbalance gaps.

4. Example β€” BTCUSDT H1​

On a BTCUSDT H1 chart with default settings, you'll see reconstructed 4H candles on the right (slot HTF 4). The 15m and 1H slots won't show up β€” they're lower than or equal to the current timeframe, so the indicator skips them. If a pink line appears above the last 4H candle's high, it means buyers reached for liquidity above the high and price came back β€” a caution flag for longs and a potential context for a short toward the midpoint (the orange 50% line).

Questions and answers​

How do I get access to the indicator?​

The indicator is invite-only for Strefa Tradingu members. Access is granted to your TradingView account. Once granted, you'll find it under Indicators β†’ Invite-only scripts. If it doesn't show up, wait a few minutes and refresh the page.

What timeframe should I use it on?​

It's an HTF overlay, so it makes sense on a lower timeframe than the HTF candles you're analyzing. By default it shows 15m, 1H, and 4H, so it works well on timeframes from 1m to 1H. Remember: HTF slots that are lower than or equal to your current timeframe are automatically skipped (e.g., the 1H slot won't draw on an H1 chart).

How do I turn on alerts?​

The Sweep Alert requires two switches at once: in the πŸ”” Alerts section enable MTF Sweep Alert, and in the MTF Sweep section enable Sweep Alert. Only then create a TradingView alert on the indicator. Both are OFF by default, because sweeps are informational and not an entry signal.

What is the main signal of this indicator?​

The liquidity sweep β€” a pink line on an HTF candle meaning price took out the high/low and came back (a liquidity grab). It's complemented by the midpoint (orange 50% line β€” an equilibrium zone) and FVG (imbalance gaps). It's a context tool: it shows structure and zones, not ready-made "buy/sell" calls.

The HTF candles appear on the right β€” is that a forecast of the future?​

No. This is the most common misconception. The HTF candles are offset to the right purely visually (the Padding from current candles setting, 35 by default) so they don't cover the current chart. It's reconstructed structure of already-closed and still-forming higher-timeframe candles, not a prediction.

Volume Imbalance draws nothing β€” why?​

Volume Imbalance is experimental and requires volume data. On synthetic instruments with no volume (some CFDs, certain indices) it won't work. That's normal β€” turn it off or switch to an instrument with real volume (e.g., crypto pairs on spot/perp exchanges).

I enabled Daily and Weekly, and the indicator loads very slowly.​

It's a "heavy" module β€” each active HTF slot is a separate candle reconstruction computed per bar. Enabling all 6 slots (especially Daily/Weekly with a high candle count) puts a lot of load on the chart. Limit active HTFs to 2–3, reduce the candle count in the field next to the timeframe, or use "Limit to next HTFs only" to show only the nearest HTFs above your current timeframe.

I don't see any candles / signals. What should I check?​

In order: (1) is ACTIVATION: Multi-Timeframe Structure ON; (2) is the show checkbox ticked for that HTF slot; (3) is the slot's timeframe higher than the chart's timeframe (lower/equal are skipped); (4) are Show Sweeps / Show Midpoint enabled; (5) scroll the chart to the right β€” the HTF candles are offset beyond current price by the "Padding" value.

Why do I only see sweeps in one direction?​

Check the Bias setting in the MTF Timeframes section. With Bullish, the indicator shows only bullish sweeps/candles; with Bearish, only bearish ones. To see both directions, set it to Neutral (the default). Also, "Show Latest Sweep Only" displays only the most recent sweep β€” turn it off for historical analysis.

Does the indicator repaint, and how do I combine it with others?​

The still-forming (last) HTF candle updates in real time until it closes β€” that's natural behavior for live candles, not a bug; closed HTF candles and confirmed sweeps are stable. Treat the indicator as a context layer (where price is heading relative to HTF structure, the midpoint, and liquidity) and combine it with entry tools from the SRL package β€” e.g., signals from the PRO LOGIC indicator or support/resistance levels β€” using sweeps and midpoints as a zonal filter, not a standalone position trigger.
